Essentials ( Wine 101)

This show is an intermediate program designed to introduce wine to the masses. The show will focus on the fundamentals of wine and the emphasis of its four senses: champagnesight, smell, taste, (mouth) feel. Essentials (Wine 101) will teach casual wine consumers how to distinguish grape varietals, deconstruct labels, select wine at a restaurant or retail shop, and broaden overall cultural perspective.

The setting for profound and accurate information is delivered in a light context to a revolving three-student class taught daily by resident and guests sommeliers. This groundbreaking show will help viewers master basic aspects of wine and the business of wine. As a tutorial segment, students will be given tours around wineries and vineyards to enrich the show's curriculum. Essentials (Wine 101) will be the launch pad for wine viewers to start their quest for more wine knowledge and open up a new world for appreciating wine and its vast culture, all from the comforts of their home.

Wine NewsThis show is a 30-minute news program giving viewers the latest breaking Wine News around the world. First airing at 8:00 am, in four slots back-to-back, to ensure that the latest wine news of the day is not missed. Moreover, to brand the responsibility of being the number one source for wine news and information.

Wine News delivers a financial segment entitled Futures, which will review all futures (past and present), their value, drink ability, investment advice, a legal segment entitled The Legal Minute which analyzes past, present, and future court battles. The changing times of the wine culture will be readily accessible for viewers to learn all relevant newsworthy issues happening today (i.e., who is making wine where, who was promoted, what estate was sold, who bought it, who was fired and who was hired, etc.) at all times.

Cellars

CellarsCellars is a show exclusively devoted simply to all cellars across the globe. A thematic cellar studio will create the proper environment for programming in a natural setting. This show will visit ancient, old, new, and under construction as well as theoretical cellars in their infancies. On location from the most luxurious chateaus, the majestic estates down to the modest, and creative refrigeration ideas being utilized in the wine world, Cellars will feature and revisit great cellars in the top restaurants and wine shops around the world.

CellarsAlso featuring premier cellarists in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the U.S. and many others worldwide who are sharing their vision and philosophy. All technical aspects—including how to age wine—will be tempered by the beauty and substance of masonry, design and creativity. Viewers will learn how to build and design their own cellars, how to find local cellarists, and store their wines. Cellars will annually select a winner to be chosen for a free cellar and a $2,000 check to a participating wine shop or auction.The design and concept of the prize-winning cellar will be a collaboration between Cellars and the winner.

Cellars will also feature a home improvement segment entitled Remodel. Like the Cellar Award, the winner will be chosen and the segment is monitored through its entire construction. Cellars will establish a Wine Scholarship Program at University Of California at Davis to find the next great cellarist.

Vineyards

Vineyards is a viticultural show deciphering the labyrinth of geological science and organic and biodynamic farming. The vineyard based studio will create a serene and natural environment for programming. Vineyards will be the central program to feature segments on oenology.

VineyardsWine-makers will demonstrate the science of wine making directly after harvest. An emphasis from A-Z on how to buy land, select vines, plant vines, nurture vines, and how grapes are harvested, along with various scientific aspects of cultivating wine. With over a million vineyards worldwide, Vineyards has an unlimited source of great stories as well as technical segments including lab studies, analyzing plant DNA, grafting root stocks, canopy management, clonal selection, pruning, the trellis system, marco/meso/micro climate study, and identifying soil diseases. The agencies, CDC (Centers for Disease Control), FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), will constitute common information sources covering hundreds of subjects.

Vineyards' resident viticulturalist will visit the most famous and infamous Vineyards and their curators across the globe to compare soil diversity and explain the history. This stylized show will create controversy while dispelling myths in pairing food and wine. Pair-fection!'s influence will help mold and diversify menus around the world with its innovative ingredients and bold pairings. Weekly Pair-fection! awards will be granted for the best menu pairings to the best restaurant or food and wine event.

LecagyA narrative show based purely on historical events in wine regions around the globe. Legacy will examine historical events that have set the foundation of the earliest beginnings of wine culture up to The Sip Channel itself.

It will cover stories of the earliest traces of wine culture in ancient countries like Persia (Iran), Mexico and China. From the Roman empire to the wine spectator, Legacy will connect the evolutionary stages of what we have come to know as New World, Old World, and Ancient World wine. Champagne

EssentialsIs the only show on TSC based exclusively on a specific region. From its violent history to the height of its genteel refinement, Champagne will explore the region and its many vineyards, great cathedrals, and its initial disdain for carbonated wines.

From the 270 villages to the main growing areas of Montagne de Reims, Cote des Blancs, Vallee de la Marne, Aube and Cote de Sezanne, to the 17 Grand Cru villages and the different champagne styles: Vintage, Non Vintage, Rose, Blanc de Blanc, Blanc de Noir and Cremant champagnes. Spotlighting the great pioneers Louis XIV and Dom Perignon, the seventeenth-century cellar master of the Abbey of Hautevillers.

This series has the dexterity to explore many issues of the country while keeping wine the focus. It will encompass the food and wine culture as well as how the people transcend it. Wino

WinoWino is a "Reality TV" -based show around the life of an individual, family, office, or complete company. This show will delve into the personal lives of the people, families, and small companies behind wine and the private lives of the companies behind the mass produced wines.

Wino will feature international segments from Australia and other English speaking countries, as well as English speaking people from non English speaking countries. Wino will expose America to the mythical nature of the wine business and dispel the notion of who makes wine, when, where, and how (and why).

Wino will cover diverse people in the business from farm workers to executives to brokers to advertisers. It will cover anyone who takes on the daily challenge and responsibility of getting wine to the people, including TSC.
